 “The English Corner” consists of a way of get in contact with English language, freely for each one to choose.
“The English Corner” can help you to start, consolidate, get close, but among all, to learn and enjoy.
We pretend to bring, in a funny way, some weird etymology, historical curiosities, etc. that can be attractive for you all, running away of any kind of serious learning. Welcome to the underground of teaching.
The origin of words and expressions everyday used, influences of English in your life, differences between British English and American English, a little bit of history, curiosities, etc.
Every “corner” would have its corresponding Spanish translation, though it would funnier not to use it, so you can learn in a direct way, and using the context.
That is the idea, in origin, though, as the method is dynamic, it can be vary according to likes and dislikes of the “Corner Community”, making it interactive.
